something to ponder
do u ever just wonder why people sometimes treat each other unfairly?
Cause i always do
its like life is already complicated,
so why do u have to make it harder for each other?
and whats in it for u if u treat some homeless people like shit?
whats in it for u if u discriminate someone who doesnt have the same standards as u do?
do u get an award for that? no. exactly!
id really just want to go into these people's minds to know the reason why they think they have the rights to do so.
we're humans, we're made up of the same thing, we come from the same god, we will be brought back to the same god in the life after (if u believe so), so what makes us different from each other apart from our faces (and personality maybe?) ?
what makes us think some people deserve to be treated unequally?
where did all the humanity values go?
im saying this because a video in Palestine that i came across on facebook a few days ago really hit me hard. it was a video of a girl being shot by the Israelis.
the worst part in the video that torn me apart was when they formed a circle around the girl to scare the hell out of her and not to forget, made fun of the girl before they actually shot her. (SO IS SHOOTING PEOPLE A HOBBY NOW?) CAUSE THEY MADE IT LOOK LIKE ONE. especially when they were making fun of her. we all know the girl was pretty much innocent. so yeah...
i remember a line from the Holy Al-Quran, which my teacher had reminded us about during foundation. it was about the angels asking Allah SWT, why did He want to create mankind when they will be amongst the destroyers of the world that He created. And Allah's answer to that was that He knows best and we(the servants) know not.
i was trying to search for that verse for the past 10 minutes but i couldnt find it.
but yeah, ill share it here once i find it.
soooooo, my point is that certain things are just meant to be left unsaid and all the answers to our unanswered questions remain with God. the only way to get some peace, or maybe answers is to get closer to Him. (which is also a reminder to myself) that is one thing.
another thing is that this insane world reminds me of how thankful i should be. because ;
1) when im having my nice craved meals and 15 hours of sleep, there are thousands (or millions in fact) of people out there who are suffering and in fear and really have no place to go to
2) and when i feel like i dont really have anyone who truly cares about me, THERES A HUGE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE WHO LOST ALL OF HIS OR HER FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS (while im here thinking of how unfair my life is when i have everything that i need!)
